Key to the flavour of the Blender's Reserve is the meticulous selection of our casks. Not only do we select from a wide variety of spirits, but casks from different spirit ages too. Casks used to age American whiskies for a long time give refined flavours of vanilla and a light sweetness; whilst casks used to age American whiskies for only a short time provide the tannins that - used sparingly - give a gentle oak taste on the finish.
